It is said that all new beginings should start with something sweet. So I decided that my first post has to be a sweet dish. I had this dish when we were invited to my friend’s place for dinner.After a lavish dinner came the pudding.It looked and tasted like Black Forest cake but yet the doubt kept lingering our minds.We were amazed to know the secret behind the recipe.
10 slices of bread (preferably 1 to 2 days old)
6tsp cocoa powder(you can add more if you like a darker colour)
5Tbsp powder sugar
1cup fresh cream(lightly beaten)
vanilla essence few drops
1/2 cup walnuts(cut in small pieces)
1. First grind the bread slices in a mixer.
2. In a bowl mix the bread crumbs with the cocoa and powder sugar.
3. Beat the cream lightly with1tsp sugar+vanilla essence.
4.Layer a pudding bowl with some portion of the bread crumbs.Spread some walnut pieces on it .Sprinkle 1 tsp milk.Then cover with some cream . Repeattill all the bread crumbs are used up . The top layer should be of cream. Decorate with grated chocolate, walnuts.
5. Keep in the fridge to set for atleast 2 -3 hours.
I found this so easy to make.
